School Uniform
The school official colours are navy blue and grey. The navy blue sweatshirt and navy blue cardigan embroided with the school's logo can be purchased from Skoolkit. Skoolkit is a store in Hampshire that can be found at 15 Church Street, Basingstoke, RG21 7QG. Opening times are Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm and Saturday 9am - 5pm. Skirts and trousers are grey. A white shirt or polo shirt may be worn under the school sweatshirt. Socks/tights should be moderate colours (e.g black, grey or white) and shoes must be sturdy and appropriate for outdoor play.
In summer, the children may wear blue checked summer dresses or grey shorts.
Clothing should be chosen so that:
- Children can easily dress themselves
- It is easy to launder
- It is suitable for the weather
Please make sure all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name.
School Uniform
P.E. Clothing
Children do indoor P.E. in blue shorts, house T-shirt and bare feet.
Children across all three years at the school are put into 1 of 4 houses, (which will be allocated once your child starts school) - Windsor, Hever, Portchester or Arundel. Each house is represented by a colour, either red, green yellow or blue. A child's house T-shirt will also be one of these four colours. Castle Hill Friends (our PTA) sell the coloured t-shirts. Please ask at the school office for mare details.
Shorts, house T-shirt and plimsolls are required for outside activities, for the winter months navy tracksuit bottoms and a navy jumper are also required. All P.E. clothing should be clearly marked with your child’s name and kept in a drawstring bag (Sorry, we cannot allow backpacks, as there is no space for them on pegs).
Please keep P.E. kit in school at all times. Although the hall may be timetabled for P.E., the school grounds are not, and so P.E. can take place on any day of the week.
Jewellery
No jewellery, including earrings, should be worn in school for Health & Safety reasons. The school follows County Policy that no earrings may be worn during P.E. sessions.
