Clothing should be chosen so that

  • Children can easily dress themselves
  • It is easy to launder
  • It is suitable for the weather

Please make sure all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name.

P.E. Clothing

Children do indoor P.E. in blue shorts, house T-shirt and bare feet.

Children across all three years at the school are put into 1 of 4 houses, (which will be allocated once your child starts school) - Windsor, Hever, Portchester or Arundel. Each house is represented by a colour, either red, green yellow or blue. A child's house T-shirt will also be one of these four colours..

Shorts, house T-shirt and plimsolls are also required for outside activities.  All P.E. clothing should be clearly marked with your child’s name and kept in a drawstring bag (Sorry, we cannot allow backpacks, as there is no space for them on pegs).  Please keep P.E. kit in school at all times.  Although the hall may be timetabled for P.E., the school grounds are not, and so P.E. can take place on any day of the week.

No jewellery including earrings should be worn in school for Health & Safety reasons. The school follows County Policy that no earrings may be worn during P.E. sessions.
