Accessibility Around the School

Access Information for all Visitors to Castle Hill Infant School.

Whilst there are no designated parking spaces for disabled drivers in the main car park, we would invite registered blue badge holders to use the intercom at the main entrance barrier to request access to the upper drive, where limited parking is available.

The drive has a steep gradient, as have the footpaths parallel to the drive. There are zebra crossings for safe crossing of the driveway. The entrance to the school is level. There are ramps to the entrance and to one of the hall doors. The other doors to the school are stepped.

There is an intercom inside the main double door of the school building. Will visitors please ring for access.

There is safe sloping access alongside steps to the north of the school. The gate to the large infant playground has long shallow steps to accomodate buggies.

We want you to enjoy your visit to our school - if you have any further questions regarding accessibility to our school, please do not hesitate to ring the school office.
